Caroline Rust Ward

In Recognition of Public Art and Design in SC, NC, and Beyond

We recognize ArtPop Street Gallery, a sister public art non-profit across the border, and give a proud shout out to WAI board member and artist, Caroline Rust (Ward).

A work of art by Caroline has been selected to be on billboards and media platforms in Charlotte, NC, and surrounding counties in North Carolina and South Caroline, including York County, throughout 2021. Caroline's work joins that of 19 other artists/designers, a handful from York County, for display. The public art project is called ArtPop Street Gallery.  As a sister public art non-profit, APSG promotes the work of local artists/designers in the states which sponsor a program. Learn more at www.artpopstreetgallery.com.

To learn more about Rust's work and the piece from the series, Voices That Skip Towards Night, illuminating the importance of bonds, relationships, and connections among people, visit www.carolinerust.com.
